Purpose and Scope

Müzik Hackathon is a competition in which bands create an original song over a 42-hour non-stop marathon. These competition rules govern the application process, the evaluation, the marathon and the final night.

Application Requirements

Applications are made in the band's name; member limits are announced on the application form. All rights to the work and the performance video submitted with the application must belong to the applicants. Applications containing incomplete or misleading declarations may be excluded from evaluation.

Evaluation

Applications are evaluated by the jury against the criteria of originality, performance and cohesion. The jury's decisions are final. Finalist bands agree to be present in Konya on the event weekend.

Rights in the Works

The economic and moral rights to works created during the marathon belong to the bands. The organisation may use the recordings and stage footage, with attribution, to promote the event.

General Provisions

The organisation reserves the right to change the schedule in cases of force majeure. Bands found to be in breach of these rules may be removed from the competition.
